Thank you for taking the time to follow the link to the OMEA District II web site. We are trying to utilize this tool to communicate more effectively!
*As we are barreling toward the end of the year, the board has determined that we do not need a spring meeting. Our next general meeting will be September 10, 2008.
*At the fall meeting we will establish dates for District II events...please make sure you bring your calendar!!
*Next year's event chairs are as follows (per the rotation schedule):
Middle School Festivals: Parkrose and Hood River
Middle School Solo and Ensemble: Oregon Trail
Middle School Honor Groups: David Douglas
If it is your year to chair an event next year. Please plan to come to the fall meeting having researched possible dates and locations.
*We also need to be thinking about how to deal with the number of bands at the middle school festival. We are struggling with too many groups and not enough time.
